Distinctions for "A Tale of Two Teddies"

*CBS News Sunday Morning  (The Osgood File)  featured  teddy bear author/illustrator/historian Kathleen Bart and her book  "A Tale of Two Teddies" in their  internationally  televised Teddy Bear  Centennial segment.

*Italian VOGUE Bambini ran a full page feature story on author/illustrator Kathleen Bart and "A Tale of Two Teddies".

*C-Span 2 Book TV  aired nationwide Kathleen Bart’s author presentation to students at Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School in Oyster Bay, L.I.

*Macy’s Herald Square  featured "A Tale of Two Teddies" in their teddy bear anniversary shop.  The author  presented and signed  at  Macy’s  centennial teddy bear celebration.

*The National Doll and Teddy Bear Exposition, (Washington, DC.). featured  Kathleen Bart’s author presentation  on the history of the teddy bear and  "A Tale of Two Teddies" to adult collectors.

*The Smithsonian Institution selected "A Tale of Two Teddies" for their museum shops and catalog. The author presented and signed  her book at the National Museum of American History.

*The Theodore Roosevelt National Historic Inaugural Site featured Kathleen Bart’s author presentation of "A Tale of Two Teddies" as part of their teddy bear centennial celebrations and museum exhibit.

*Associated Press posted a feature story on "A Tale of Two Teddies" and the 100th anniversary of the teddy bear on their national wire. This article has appeared in newspapers throughout the United States and Canada.

*The New York Times ran a half page story on author/illustrator Kathleen Bart, "A Tale of Two Teddies" and the centennial anniversary of the teddy bear.

*Publishers Weekly selected "A Tale of Two Teddies" for their "Children’s Book bag" feature.

*Newsday ran a full  page feature on Kathleen Bart and "A Tale of Two Teddies" in the Long Island Life and Kidsday Sections.
